Now this will be a sure hoot. They're giving me my very own place on the web to spout off about things you probably don't care about. Well you should damnit. Because I said so. This country is going to hell in a handbasket. Did you know that we now have a state-run media mind control television station, bent on warping the impressionable minds of the average American idiot with no ability to think for himself and discern propoganda from reality? It's called Fox News. It's motto is "fair and balanced coverage." Very funny, when you consider that viewing it is no different than viewing a Rush Limbaugh broadcast, only this station claims to be giving you the news.

It goes something like this. They find a news item, and then purport to tell you the facts. While giving you these facts, they spin it and inflect right-wing biases into it. The latest example is during yesterday morning's broadcast of Fox and Friends, talking about the Space Shuttle. Would you believe that someone interjected out of nowhere a reference to the fact that the glue was weakened because we signed some environmental treaty and had to change glues? I mean come on, this is a national tragedy and you're using it as a platform to attack environmentalism.

Then there's this Sean Hannity guy. He's basically Goebels in disguise as a "newscaster." His interview style is a little bit like this:

Hannity: " So what is your position on.....Iraq?"

"Liberal" Guest: "Well I'm not sure we should go in there becau.."

Hannity: "Sir people like you make me sick. You are nothing more than a left-wing Marxist, anti-American conspiracy theorist bent on destroying this great nation with your evil Socialist political idealogy and your whining liberal media platform. You are the face of evil sent here to destroy the great America that all our brave men have fought and died for. We should take you and all of your pinko friends and shoot you."

"Liberal" Guest: "Sean I was merely stating that it may inflame the Arab world and cause more terrorist acti.."

Hannity: "Look, why don't you just get into your hybrid car or your bicycle or whatever you no-good liberals are riding in these days and leave my country. If you don't like it here, than leave. See that flag sir? You'd better get down on your knees and kiss the pole that is honored to display it. If you love Iraq so much than move there. Real Americans like me don't need you or your agenda to undermine the greatness of this nation."

Fox News has fair and balanced coverage.....of right wing propoganda. Boycott Fox News!
