 And you may ask some of my favorite artists....well.....Duhrer, Van Eyck, The Limbourgh Brothers, Botticelli, Bosch, El Greco, Rubens, West, almost all painters in the Enlightenment Period...some early 19th Century guys....sometimes Delacrouix, pre-Raphaelites....especially Waterhouse and Leighton, Manet, Chagall, Picasso, Dali, Klimt, Edward Robert Hughes. Not terribly keen on the modern modern guys, not too big on primitivism, though I appreciate the idea.
I really love art from other cultures however, especially the stuff from China and Japan. I was once given a book of Japanese prints as a gift from an old friend. That was something I'll not soon forget.
